Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Kyla Carmel Romarate (“ARCHAT”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your use of the ARCHAT mobile application and this website (together, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally able to enter into these Terms. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that you are not barred from using the Service under any applicable law.
2. Your account
To use ARCHAT you need an account. Login credentials may be generated for you. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account.
3. The Service
ARCHAT is an entertainment app for live video chats with new people, featuring AR masks and filters, a live feed, quick matches, messaging, and virtual items. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not, and will not allow anyone to:
- Use the Service if you are under 18, or involve anyone under 18 in any way.
- Post, stream, or send nudity, sexually explicit content, or pornographic material.
- Harass, bully, threaten, defame, or intimidate anyone, or promote hate or violence.
- Share content that is illegal, abusive, obscene, deceptive, or infringes others’ rights.
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
- Solicit money, promote scams, spam, or advertise without our permission.
- Record, screenshot, or redistribute another person’s video, audio, images, or messages without their consent.
- Collect or harvest data about other users, or use bots, scraping, or automation.
- Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass security or payment systems of the Service.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create or share (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and process Your Content solely to operate, moderate, and improve the Service. You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to share it. We may remove content that violates these Terms or the law.
6. Moderation & safety
We may review, monitor, and moderate content and activity to keep the Service safe, and may remove content or restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. The app provides tools to report and block other users. Please use them, and be kind and respectful to others.
7. Profiles & interactions
Some profiles, live content, and interactions on the Service may be provided, operated, or moderated by ARCHAT or its partners — including for demonstration, testing, safety, or engagement. ARCHAT does not guarantee that any interaction will result in an offline meeting, relationship, or specific outcome. The Service is provided for entertainment, and you are responsible for how you choose to interact with others. Never share sensitive personal or financial information with people you meet.
8. Virtual items, credits & subscriptions
- Virtual items: the Service may let you buy virtual items and credits (for example, “Energy” and gifts). Virtual items are a limited, personal, revocable license to use a feature of the Service. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money, are non-transferable, and may expire.
- No refunds: purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law or the Google Play refund policy.
- Subscriptions: subscriptions renew automatically for the applicable period until canceled. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Billing: purchases are processed by Google Play and are also subject to Google’s terms. We may change prices and offerings; changes apply to future purchases.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, logos, and brand assets, is owned by ARCHAT and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the license granted to you, we reserve all rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact support@vrgames.world with details, and we will respond appropriately, including removing infringing content where required.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party services (such as Google Play, Google Play Billing, and real-time communication providers). Your use of those services is subject to their terms, and they are not parties to these Terms. Google and other platform providers are third-party beneficiaries where required by their rules but have no obligations to you under these Terms.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty regarding the conduct of other users or the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the Service, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ARCHAT and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ARCHAT and its affiliates from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or the law.
14. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content licenses granted to us, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
15. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Philippines, unless applicable law grants you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where required. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
